For the Army Spec Ad, we didn’t rely on just one tool to generate the characters—we used several.
Every AI model has its own strengths: some create photorealism, others excel at emotion, costume detail, or cinematic lighting. To get the right look for each soldier, we ran prompt variations through multiple image-generation models—comparing outputs from MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, and others. We tested different prompt structures, modifiers, lighting setups, and even aspect ratios to ensure each character felt grounded, powerful, and real.
Once we landed on the strongest visuals, we enhanced and refined them through upscaling, inpainting, and post-editing to create continuity across the cast. The result? Cohesive, high-impact visuals that feel handpicked—not AI-random.
This process allowed us to cast our characters with intention—combining AI speed with the eye of a filmmaker.
With this Army Spec Ad, our goal was to create something visually striking—but still believable. We didn’t want it to feel like science fiction or overly stylized AI art. It had to resonate emotionally, feel authentic to the military world, and hold up under close attention.
To achieve that, we leaned into cinematic composition, realistic lighting, and authentic character design—while still pushing the boundaries with bold framing, dramatic atmospheres, and carefully selected motion elements. Every shot was designed to feel elevated, but never artificial.
We used AI as a tool to explore unexpected visual possibilities, then grounded each one in real-world logic through color grading, sound design, and narrative context. The result: a piece that feels powerful, distinctive, and emotionally real—without losing its creative edge.
